We want you and your entire family to be a part of this once in a lifetime celebration!
Time is fast approaching the Jordan High 100 year Celebration. We are looking forward to a celebration worthy of all the Beetdiggers who have graced the halls of Jordan High. To make this an outstanding celebration and one that will affect your life and the lives of our fellow Beetdiggers forever we need you. Preparing for this event will take 100s of volunteers to donate time, talents, money, resources etc.
Following is the agenda of the Centennial events:
- This notice will go out to all alumni.
- New alumni archives is under construction and will be up and running prior to 2007.
- January 2007: Centennial Alumni directory will be mailed to those who pre-ordered.
- June 2007: Special presentation given to all graduating seniors.
- Friday July 6, 2007 (Starting at 7:00pm): "Jordan High 100 Year Celebration of Life" will be held at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City, UT. (A special night to honor Jordan High and its alumni.)
- Saturday July 7, 2007 (12:00pm - 10:00pm): Entire school reunion at the South Towne Expo Center (located next to Jordan High School.) This will be a full day event with 100 years of classes represented. Class areas will have a car from their graduating year as part of their booth. There will be music, dancing and entertainment. This will be the time to visit with old classmates from your year and others whom you haven't been able to see due to time constraints.
- 2007-2008 school year: Jordan High will focus their school activities around the centennial for this great school. Alumni will be invited back for special events (plays, concerts, etc) during the year.
- September 2007 Homecoming: Alumni will be invited back for the annual Homecoming Football game and a special Homecoming Dance will be designed and put together for all alumni.
- June 2008: Another special presentation will be given to graduating seniors.
